Knox County Scenic Drive - Saturday & Sunday 9:00 am - 5:00 PM

The Knox County Scenic Drive is held annually in West Central Illinois in celebration of the rural heritage of the area.  Towns, villages and points of historic interest participate as Official stops.  All feature an assortment of food, crafts, antiques, flea markets, entertainment, artisans, demonstrations, children's activities, produce and much more.  This self-guided driving tour lets you set your own pace and enjoy the spectacular fall foliage between stops.

Glenn Miller Orchestra - 4:00 PM

THE WORLD-FAMOUS GLENN MILLER ORCHESTRA!!!   They're BACK!!  The Glenn Miller Orchestra last appeared at the Orpheum Theatre in August 2006 for a sold out show.  Not long before Glenn Miller's plane crashed in the English Channel, the popular bandleader had nosed-out Tommy Dorsey as the "Best Sweet Band" in the Downbeat poll.  Miller's recordings of In The Mood, Chattanooga Choo Choo, A String of Pearls, Moonlight Serenade, & Tuxedo Junction were all major hit records.  The Miller Estate formed the present Glenn Miller Orchestra in 1956 which has toured constantly since, playing an average of 300 live dates a year.  Get your tickets now to ensure a good seat as they're sure to sell-out again!!

Elvis Gospil Tribute Experience - 4:00 PM

"Elvis Gospel Tribute Experience Concert"!!   As most people know Elvis grew up singing Gospel.  This concert features Al Hull, Elvis impressionist, singing and playing Elvis's favorite Gospel songs.  Elvis received three Emmy awards, all for his Gospel music.  Doors open at 2:30 with the concert starting at 4:00 PM. The Life of Birds - Insatiable Appetite - 6:30 - 7:30 PM

Documentary: The Life of Birds, "Insatiable Appetite!!!  The Life of Birds is the definitive program on birds.  The series traverses the globe, covering 42 countries and examining over 300 different species of the world's largest animal group.  The 10-part series will be shown at the Galesburg Public Library once a month over 10 months from August 2010 to May 2011.
